Siam Paragon, a large shopping centre, is 5.4 km away, and the Jim Thompson House, a museum set in a group of traditional Thai houses, is 6.2 km away. Closer to the hotel, Angoon's Garden is a park, and Soi 38 Nightmarket is a night market.

A day out could combine the Siam shopping area with the Jim Thompson House, then an evening at the Soi 38 Nightmarket, which is close to the hotel. For the historic sights, the Grand Palace and Wat Arun are in old Bangkok by the Chao Phraya river, a separate outing that takes a little more planning. Both are about 10 km from the hotel, so they make a full day out.
