Siam Paragon, a large shopping centre, is 1.4 km away, and the Central Embassy mall lies nearby. The Erawan Shrine, a Hindu shrine at the Ratchaprasong junction, is a short walk from the hotel, and Jim Thompson House, a museum of Thai silk set in traditional teak houses, is 2.2 km away.

A day here can start with the shopping streets of Siam and the Erawan Shrine, then continue to Jim Thompson House by BTS or taxi. The Grand Palace and Wat Arun lie farther away, across the river on the other side of the old city. For a weekend outing, the Chatuchak Weekend Market is a large market in the north of the city, and after dark the hotel's outdoor pool and spa offer a quieter end to the day.
