Grand View Premium

All the rooms at Grand View Premium look out onto the garden and have air conditioning, a fan and linen, along with a private bathroom with a shower, toiletries and towels. Each room also has a flat-screen TV with satellite and cable channels, an electric kettle and a hair dryer.

The Deluxe King Room measures 55 m² and takes up to three guests, the Deluxe King Studio measures 60 m² for up to four, and the Apartment with Balcony measures 80 m² for up to six. Couples and larger groups both have a room sized for them, with the garden in view from each one.

Free parking is available, and the hotel has a coffee shop and room service. An airport transfer is offered, tours can be arranged, and free Wi-Fi is available in all rooms, with Wi-Fi in the public areas too. A room service app is also offered.

Patong is Phuket's main beach resort town, and Grand View Premium stands on Soi Baan Kanchana 2 off Nanai Road, back from the sea rather than on the sand. The streets around it are busy and lively, with food stalls, shops and bars, and the area suits those who want the beach and the nightlife close at hand.

Patong Beach is 1.3 km away, and Bangla Road, the street known for its nightlife, is 1.1 km away. A night market 800 m from the hotel has stalls selling food and clothing. Further afield, the Big Buddha on a hilltop is 6.6 km away, and Wat Chalong, one of the island's most revered temples, is a further drive. Taxis and hired cars are the easiest way to reach the farther beaches and temples.

A good first day could be Patong Beach and then an evening on Bangla Road, with the Big Buddha or Wat Chalong on another day. Karon Beach, 3.4 km away, is a long sandy stretch lined with cafés and restaurants. Phuket FantaSea, a cultural theme park with evening shows in Kamala, makes a good night out, and Wat Chalong and the Big Buddha are among the island's best-known landmarks.
