At Asok, the skytrain also meets the metro, a useful connection for getting around the city.Siam Paragon, a large shopping centre, is three stops from Nana, and Benchakitti Forest Park, 800 m from the hotel, is a green place for a walk away from the traffic.

For a full day out, visit Jim Thompson House, the former home of the American who revived Thai silk and now a museum, 3.1 km away, and then head to Chatuchak Weekend Market, 6.8 km from the hotel, one of the largest markets in Bangkok. The Grand Palace and Wat Arun, on the Chao Phraya river, are further afield across the city, and the river area is reached on a longer journey.
