Wat Samon Kot, a temple with a pagoda, and Nonthaburi Market, a local market with everyday goods, are close by, and Nonthaburi Pier on the Chao Phraya is a ferry stop nearby. Don Mueang airport is 12 km away, and it is the closer of the two main airports to the hotel.

A day could start with a walk through Nonthaburi Market and a boat trip on the Chao Phraya from Nonthaburi Pier, then continue by metro. Or head into Bangkok for the Grand Palace, 12.5 km away, followed by Wat Arun on the river and the Chatuchak Weekend Market, a large market open on weekends. The Museum of Nonthaburi is another stop in the town for a half-day around the province.
