Chatuchak Weekend Market, a vast weekend market with thousands of stalls, is 6.4 km away.

A day could begin at Jim Thompson House and continue to the Grand Palace and Wat Arun, which are longer trips across the city. The Siam Society, a cultural centre with a museum, is a short walk from the hotel, and Soi Cowboy, close by, is known for its bars after dark.
