Grand Nikko Bangkok Sathorn

The rooms at Grand Nikko Bangkok Sathorn range from 40 m² to 95 m², in king and twin layouts, and most have a bathtub in the bathroom. Several rooms have city views, and the bathrooms vary from one room to the next. Bathrobes, hair dryers and toiletries are among the in-room items in several of the rooms across the hotel.

The Chong Nonsi and Sala Daeng BTS stations are both 600 m away, so the Skytrain links the hotel with the wider city centre and with Siam. Siam Paragon, 2.6 km away, is one of the big shopping centres in the Siam area, and the Grand Palace, 5.6 km away, holds the Temple of the Emerald Buddha within its royal grounds. Jim Thompson House, the former home of the Thai silk entrepreneur, is also nearby.

A full day could begin at the Chatuchak Weekend Market in the north of the city, 8.6 km away, a large market with thousands of stalls that opens on Saturdays and Sundays. Asiatique - The Riverfront, a shopping and dining complex on the Chao Phraya river, is a good place to end the day with dinner by the river. Wat Arun, on the Thonburi bank of the river, is another temple worth adding to the itinerary.
