Every room at Grand Mercure Bangkok Atrium has a city view. The rooms include executive rooms, corner and superior rooms, a deluxe room and several suites, among them the Grand Executive Suite, which measures 129 m².

Every room measures at least 30 m², and several have a bathtub and bathrobes. The executive rooms and suites come with executive lounge access, and the superior rooms have an adapted bath with a bathtub grab bar and a lowered view port in the door. The 129 m² and 89 m² suites both sleep up to four guests, and the 129 m² suite and the 40 m² corner suite both have a bathtub.

Guests can use the swimming pool, the spa with sauna and massage, and the fitness centre. The restaurant serves breakfast as a buffet, and lunch, dinner, a poolside bar and 24-hour room service are also available.

Vadhana Pocket Park is a small green space within walking distance, a quiet pause from the traffic.

The Phetchaburi MRT station is a short walk away, and the Airport Rail Link's Makkasan Station is a little further, so the train is a practical way to reach the wider city. Siam Paragon, a large shopping centre, is 3.8 km away, and the Jim Thompson House, a museum set in a traditional Thai house, is 4.5 km away. Chatuchak Weekend Market, with thousands of stalls on Saturdays and Sundays, is 6.3 km away.

A good first day combines the Grand Palace, 8.5 km away, with Wat Arun on the riverbank, followed by an afternoon at Siam Paragon. The hotel also provides a drop-off service to the MRT and the shopping area, which covers the short trips from the hotel to the station and the shops.
