The Windmill Viewpoint, the Old Lighthouse and the Promthep Cape Monastery are all close by, and the reef snorkelling spot lies 150 m from the property. Big Buddha, 6.7 km away, sits on a hilltop above the island, and Rawai Pier, 2.5 km away, is where boats leave for trips to nearby islands. Phuket Town, the island's main town, is further off and reached by road for shopping and local markets, and the bus station there serves visitors arriving on the island.

A good day starts with a swim and a look at the reef, then a drive to the viewpoint for the sea. Patong Beach, 13.3 km away, is the place for an evening out with its beach and street life, and free parking on site makes a car the simplest way to reach the sights further afield.
