Gold Airport Suites

The rooms at Gold Airport Suites range from standard rooms with a choice of bed set-ups to deluxe suites and family rooms of 80 m². Several rooms have a city view, and rooms can have air conditioning, a desk, a window and a shower.

Family rooms sleep up to eight guests, and several rooms include a private bathroom with a walk-in shower or a hand-held shower wand. Rooms also have a TV, a telephone or a mirror, depending on the room.

Gold Airport Suites has an outdoor swimming pool, a children's swimming pool, a fitness centre and a massage service, and guests can use the shared lounge with its large TV, billiards and karaoke. Free WiFi is available in all rooms, and free parking is available on site, with valet and bicycle parking also offered.

For meals, there is a restaurant, a coffee shop, room service and food delivery, and breakfast is served a la carte with Asian options. Ladkrabang Road runs through the Lat Krabang district of eastern Bangkok, a mix of local neighbourhoods, temples and markets close to Suvarnabhumi Airport. It works well for travellers who want to be near the airport rather than in the old city, where most of the big sights are. Being close to the airport makes the area well suited to early flights, while the temples of the old city are a long journey away.

Suvarnabhumi Airport is 3.5 km from the hotel, and the Airport Rail Link Lat Krabang Station is 1.9 km away, with trains running from there into central Bangkok. Wat Pluk Sattha, a pagoda, is 850 m away, and the Suvarnabhumi Bus Terminal is close by for onward bus travel. Ladkrabang Railway Station is also nearby, so the area has several ways out of the district.

For a day out, the Grand Palace is 29.7 km from the hotel, and the Chatuchak Weekend Market, a large weekend market with stalls selling clothes, food and crafts, is further away. Wat Arun, on the bank of the Chao Phraya River, is in the same old city area, so a day out can combine the temples with a boat ride on the river. Both trips take most of the day, so it helps to plan an early start.
