A full day here could begin at the Grand Palace and the Temple of the Emerald Buddha, then take a ferry across the river to Wat Arun, and end on Khaosan Road with dinner. Sanam Luang, the large open ground next to the Grand Palace, is also nearby. For travel further afield, Sam Yot MRT station is close by and links the old town with the rest of the city.
