A good day starts with a swim at Ao Plaaylaem and a walk to the warship museum, followed by an afternoon at the pier to watch the boats come in. For a longer day out, Salad Beach is 7 km away, further along the coast, and the trip there is a good way to see more of the island's shoreline, with its beaches and bays on the way.
