Getting around relies largely on the Skytrain: the Udom Suk BTS station is 350 m away, and the Sukhumvit line runs from here towards the city centre. Nearby are cloud 11 Park, the Khun-Yim Market and the Wat Dhammongkol pagoda, which give a sense of the local neighbourhood. The BITEC Bang Na exhibition centre is also nearby, and Manarom Hospital is in the same part of the district. The main sights are across the city: the Grand Palace and Wat Arun are both on the Chao Phraya river, and the Chatuchak Weekend Market is further north.

A full day of sightseeing could take in the Grand Palace, the Temple of the Emerald Buddha inside the same complex, and Wat Arun across the river, before an evening on Khaosan Road. Soi Sukhumvit 66/1 is quieter than the main road, so the return to the apartment after a long day of sightseeing is calmer than the centre. Suvarnabhumi Airport is 15.6 km away, and Don Mueang International Airport is also reachable by road.
