Gail's Hostels

Shops and eateries are spread along the district's streets, a short walk from the property, and the local side of Bangkok is easy to explore on foot from here.

Within 500 m you will find Wat Phra Kraisi, a pagoda, and the Ramkhamhaeng 29 Pier, a ferry pier on the local waterway. The Airport Rail Link Ramkhamhaeng Station is 2 km away, and the Mahat Thai MRT Station, on the metro line, is 2.8 km away, and the rail links connect the area with the rest of the city.

For a full day out, the Chatuchak Weekend Market in the north of the city is 8.7 km away, a sprawling market of stalls that is best visited at the weekend. The riverside temple of Wat Arun, on the Chao Phraya River, is 13.6 km away, and a visit to the two can fill a day with very different sights.
