Funny Moon Hostel

Every room at Funny Moon Hostel is a mixed dormitory room, and the bathrooms are shared between guests. Beds are single or bunk beds, and rooms can have air conditioning and a clothes rack.

Each room sleeps one guest, so every traveller has a bed of their own, whichever room is booked.

Free Wi-Fi is available in all rooms, with Wi-Fi also in the public areas. Free parking is on site, and the public areas have air conditioning. Internet services are also offered.

Funny Moon Hostel stands in Baantai, in the Haad Rin area of Ko Pha-ngan. Haad Rin is best known as the village where the Full Moon Party takes place on the beach, and its bars and restaurants are close to the guesthouse. Along the beach road there are street-food stalls and massage shops, which is part of everyday life in the village. Ko Pha-ngan has no airport, so visitors usually arrive by boat, and the ferry pier is a short walk from the property.

The two beaches of Haad Rin are the closest: Haad Rin Nai Beach is 450 m away and Haad Rin Nok Beach is 500 m away, both on the same bay. The village of Ban Haad Rin and the Luang Pu Thuat Shrine are close by as well, and the property offers car hire for trips further afield.

For a day out, Thong Nai Pan Yai Beach is 10.3 km away. Guests who want to train can reach Diamond Muay Thai, a training camp 9.7 km away, and the Haad Rin beaches remain the easiest outing from the guesthouse. The property is a short walk from the village, so the beach, the bars and the ferry pier can all be reached on foot.
