Friend Nest Bangkok

Every room at Friend Nest Bangkok is set up for up to two guests, with a queen bed and air conditioning. The rooms measure between 20 and 22 m², and each one has a private bathroom.

Each room has a desk, a refrigerator and a closet, and the bathrooms come with a shower, toiletries and towels. The shared kitchen on site gives guests a place to prepare their own food.

Free Wi-Fi covers all the rooms, and Wi-Fi is also available in the public areas. Air conditioning is installed in the public areas too, not only in the rooms.

Guests can use the shared kitchen to prepare their own meals and keep food in the refrigerator in their room. Each room has a refrigerator, a hair dryer, toiletries, towels and slippers, plus a closet and a clothes rack.

Access to the rooms is by stairs, and the reception staff speak English and Thai at the front desk.

Friend Nest Bangkok sits in the Lat Phrao and Ratchada area of Chatuchak District, a largely residential part of Bangkok where local markets, apartment blocks and temples stand beside the subway lines. Street-food stalls and small shops line the main roads, so there is plenty to see on foot in the area. The setting is a neighbourhood where everyday life goes on, rather than one of the big tourist strips.

Lat Phrao MRT station is 400 m from the homestay, and the subway is a practical way to travel further across the city. Suan Lum Night Bazaar, an evening market with food stalls and shopping, is 300 m away, and Wat Lad Phrao, a local temple with a pagoda, is 1.3 km away. Chatuchak Weekend Market, one of Bangkok's most famous weekend markets, is 3.1 km away from the homestay.

For a full day out, you could start at Chatuchak Weekend Market, then return to the area for an evening at Suan Lum Night Bazaar. Don Mueang International Airport is 12.5 km from the homestay, and the subway and taxis connect the district with the rest of Bangkok, with Lat Phrao and Ratchadaphisek stations both within a short distance of the homestay.
