Fresh House

Every room at Fresh House has air conditioning and a private bathroom with a shower, and the rooms measure between 27 m² and 40 m². Several have a balcony or terrace, and some have a sea view, a beach view or a street view.

Rooms sleep up to three guests, and several have a private entrance. Most rooms have a flat-screen TV and an electric kettle, and several have a refrigerator. Toiletries are provided in most rooms, and every bathroom has a shower.Daily housekeeping is provided, and laundry, ironing and dry cleaning services are offered, along with luggage storage for guests at the hotel.

Fresh House has free parking on site and a free airport transfer, with valet parking, a shuttle service and car hire also offered to guests at the hotel. Free Wi-Fi is available in all rooms and in public areas.

Fresh House sits in Lanta Old Town, the village area of Koh Lanta, where shophouses, temples and small shops line the roads. The island is reached by boat from the mainland, so the last leg of the journey is by sea. Travellers who want a village base close to the island's everyday services, rather than a beach-side stay, will find the area useful.

Within a few hundred metres are the Koh Lanta Old Town Pier, 450 m away, and the Koh Lanta Community Museum, a small museum on the island. Inland, Khao Mai Kaew Cave is 2.7 km away, a cave set in the hills, and Mu Ko Lanta National Park is 6.5 km away, a marine park covering islands and coastline. Reaching the beaches usually means a scooter, songthaew or taxi, as they are spread across the island, and Long Beach and Klong Dao Beach are among the island's main stretches of sand.

A good day out could start with a walk round the old town, then a trip to Khao Mai Kaew Cave and a swim at Long Beach or Klong Dao Beach in the afternoon. Boat trips to the islets of the national park give a view of the marine park's coastline, although they can be disrupted by rough seas in the rainy season.
