Every room has air conditioning, blackout curtains, a reading light, a socket near the bed and linens. The bathroom is shared, and each room also has a hair dryer, towels, toiletries, free bottled water and a separate dining area.

The rooms are bunk-bed dormitories. The quadruple room sleeps up to four guests and the six-bed mixed dormitory up to six, while the two single-bunk dormitories each take one guest.

Free Wi-Fi covers all rooms, and there is Wi-Fi in the public areas too. Air conditioning is in the public areas as well. The shared lounge and TV area is one of the common spaces, alongside a coffee shop and a shared kitchen.

The property also has a convenience store, a salon, lockers and luggage storage. There is a shuttle service and 24-hour security, and tours, car hire and hiking are available. English, Chinese (Mandarin) and Thai are spoken.

The property is smoke-free and has non-smoking rooms, and a family room is also available. Free Wi-Fi and air conditioning both reach the public areas, so the common spaces are covered as well as the bedrooms.

Betong is a town in Yala Province, in the far south of Thailand, close to the Malaysian border. The hostel is in the town itself, with the clock tower 150 m away, and the streets around it lead to the market and the temples of the town, which are all within a few hundred metres.

Around the hostel, the fresh market is 350 m away, and a Buddhist temple, Wat Phutthathiwat, and the municipal stadium are a few hundred metres off. Street art, the world's largest mailbox and a petanque court are also in the town, all within 600 m of the hostel, so a walk through the town covers most of them.

For a day out, the sign marking the southernmost point of historical Siam is 5.6 km away, and the Betong-Kroh tragedy memorial is 5.8 km away. Hiking, tours and car hire are available for trips further afield, so the hostel can be a starting point for exploring the border region.
