Forra Dive Resort Sunrise Beach

Forra Dive Resort Sunrise Beach has a 132 m² house with a beach view, two bathrooms, a separate living room with a sofa and a refrigerator. Alongside it are bungalows of 32 m² and 40 m² with garden views, and most rooms have a fan; several have a balcony or terrace.

The family bungalows sleep up to four and six guests, and the standard bungalows sleep up to two and four. Bed set-ups include double, king and queen beds, and the house has its own private entrance. Mosquito nets and board games are available in some of the bungalows, and the Family Bungalow includes a balcony or terrace.

The resort has a restaurant, a coffee shop, a snack bar, a bar and a garden, and Asian and continental breakfast options are offered on site. Massage is available, and watersport equipment can be rented for canoeing, diving and snorkelling. Tours are offered too, and the resort has a game room, a library and a shared lounge with a TV area.

Guests can also use a playground, and luggage storage, safety deposit boxes, currency exchange and daily housekeeping are available. Free Wi-Fi is available in all rooms, WiFi is also offered in public areas, parking on site is available, and pets are allowed at the resort, which also has a 24-hour front desk to help guests with their questions.

The resort sits on Sunrise Beach, on Ko Lipe, a small island in the Andaman Sea in Satun province. The beach area is lively in the evening, with bars and dive operators along the sand, while the rest of the island keeps a relaxed village feel. Ko Lipe is small enough that most places on the island are close to one another. The island has no airport, so the sea is the main way in and out.

Karma Beach is 250 m away and Sunset Beach is 850 m, two more stretches of sand close to the resort. The village of Ban Ko Li Pe starts 100 m from the resort, and Walking Street, the island's pedestrian lane, is 750 m away. Within a short stroll you can reach the beach, the village and the shops on foot, and the paths between them are the main way to move around the resort's surroundings.

A good day here starts on the sand and continues by boat: Koh Adang, 5.7 km away, is one of the islands reached for day trips. Snorkelling and diving are offered by operators close by, including Adang Sea Divers, and the ferry terminal is where boats from the mainland arrive.
