Forest Retreat House

Both rooms at Forest Retreat House have air conditioning. One of the rooms is a one-bedroom house of 35 m², with a double bed, a mountain view, a private entrance and a full kitchen, and the other has a queen bed.

Both rooms sleep up to two guests and have a private bathroom. The holiday home sits on Ko Pha-ngan, so the rooms suit a stay on the island with the temples, the beaches and the night market within a few kilometres.

Free Wi-Fi is available in all rooms, and Wi-Fi also works in the public areas. Parking is free at the property.

The public area has air conditioning, and there is a terrace where guests can sit. English and Russian are spoken at the property, and internet services are offered in addition to Wi-Fi.

Forest Retreat House is in Thong Sala, the main town of Ko Pha-ngan, where the island's ferries from Ko Samui arrive. Around the port, shops, cafés and street-food stalls gather, and many of the island's shops and services are found here, so the town works as a practical base for those who want a bit of island life. Those who prefer a quieter stay can look to the hillside areas around town, while the port and its shops stay close.

Several temples are nearby. Wat Khao Tham, a pagoda, is 750 m away, and Wat Phra Yai, a temple with a large Buddha figure, is 850 m away. Haad Baan Tai is the nearest beach to the property, at 2 km, and the Phaeng Noi waterfall, in the island's hills, is 2.3 km away. The waterfall lies inland, away from the coast.

Ko Pha-ngan has no airport, so the nearest one, Samui Airport, is 19.2 km away on Ko Samui, and the last stretch of the journey is by boat. Because the island is small, the temples, the beach and the waterfall can be combined in one day. A good day could start with the temples, continue to Haad Baan Tai beach and end with a walk back through the village.
