A good day could start with a swim at Kata Beach, continue to the Big Buddha and Wat Chalong, and finish at the Kata Walking Street Night Market. Dive operators are a few hundred metres away, so the sea is never far from the guesthouse. Phuket International Airport is 31.9 km away, and most journeys to Kata continue by road over the bridge that links the island to the mainland.
