First Residence Hotel

The rooms at First Residence Hotel include twin, double, triple and family options. Several measure 30 m² and others 60 m², and one family room sleeps up to six guests. Some rooms have a pool view and others a city view, and rooms for up to six guests are available, so a larger family can stay together in one room.

Bed arrangements vary from room to room, with single beds, double beds and a queen bed in some rooms. Rooms can have air conditioning, a bathtub, a hair dryer, a mini bar, a refrigerator or a balcony, and free WiFi is available in all rooms.

Chaweng is Koh Samui's best-known and liveliest beach, a long stretch of sand with a busy mix of restaurants, bars and shops along the road behind it. The hotel is on Chaweng Beach itself, so the sand, the restaurants and the evening life are all close at hand.

Chaweng Noi Beach is 400 m away, and the walking street, with its restaurants and shops, is a short distance from the hotel. Wat Chaweng, a Buddhist temple, is 2.4 km away, and the Big Buddha, a large seated statue on a hill near Bophut, is 6.6 km away. Fisherman's Village, in Bophut, has shops and restaurants in a village setting. Lamai Beach is a longer stretch of sand farther along the coast, and Na Muang Waterfall lies inland.

A good way to spend a day is to start on the sand at Chaweng Beach, visit Wat Chaweng in the afternoon and finish at the walking street, where the restaurants and shops stay busy into the evening. The Night Market, with street food and local goods, is 2.6 km away. Samui Airport, 4.2 km away, is the nearest airport, and there is also an airport transfer. Chaweng Noi Beach, next to it, is the quieter stretch for a swim.
