Karon is a long sandy beach on Phuket island, between Kata Beach and Nai Harn Beach. The road behind the sand has cafés, small hotels and shops, and the town keeps a relaxed beach-resort feel. Phuket is an island linked to the mainland by a bridge, so arriving by car is possible.

Karon Beach is 200 m from the guesthouse, and Kata Beach is 2.7 km away along the coast. Kata Beach is a sandy beach with cafés and shops, next to Karon. Phuket Big Buddha, a large seated Buddha on a hilltop, is 3.2 km away, and Chaithararam Temple (Wat Chalong), one of the island's best-known Buddhist temples, is 4.6 km away. Close to the beach there is also Wat Suwan Khiri Khet, a Buddhist temple and pagoda.

A typical day could begin with a walk along Karon Beach, continue to the Big Buddha and Wat Chalong, and end at the Karon Night Market, which is a short walk from the hotel. Nai Harn Beach, 7.9 km away, is the next beach along the coast, and Phuket International Airport is reached by road, and the Minibus Station lies closer to the guesthouse than the Phuket Town Local Bus Station does.
