Phuket International Airport (HKT) is 17.3 km away, and the road network of the island reaches the area, so a car is the easiest way to reach the sights further afield.

A good day could start with a swim on the beach in front of the home, continue to Surin Beach and the waterfall, and end at the Kamala Night Market in the evening. For a longer outing, the Big Buddha statue and Wat Chalong temple are reached by road from Kamala. Evenings can be spent on a stroll along the beach road and a visit to the night market.
