The rooms measure between 12 and 18 m², and all have air conditioning, a private entrance and a private bathroom. Each bathroom has a walk-in shower, toiletries and towels, and the rooms also come with a hair dryer, an electric kettle, linens and a socket near the bed. Every room sleeps up to two guests, and the bathrooms are private to each room.

Most rooms have a queen bed and one has two single beds, while mountain views come with three of the rooms. Guests can also use the sun terrace, the garden and the outdoor dining area, which are open to everyone staying at the property.

Family and Friends Lanta sits in the Pra Ae Beach area of Koh Lanta, an island in Krabi province in the Andaman Sea. The surroundings mix beaches, small villages and hillsides, and the beach is close by. Koh Lanta has no bridge to the mainland, so the trip ends by boat, and Krabi International Airport, the nearest airport, is on the mainland.

Relax Bay Beach is 400 m away and Ao Hin Ta Re beach 550 m, so the coast is close to the property. Ba-Lai temple lies 3.5 km away, and Khao Mai Kaew Cave, 7.5 km away, is one of the island's natural sights. Mu Ko Lanta National Park, 15.2 km away, covers the islands around Koh Lanta, and reaching its islands means taking a boat.

A good day could start with a swim at Ao Hin Ta Re, then move on to the Ba-Lai temple, and end with a visit to Khao Mai Kaew Cave. For a longer outing, a boat trip to the national park gives a different view of the islands around Koh Lanta. Days spent on the beaches near the property and afternoons at the temple or the cave make a varied itinerary that stays on the island.
