Within a few hundred metres you will find a spa, a convenience store, an ATM and the Camillian Hospital.

Thong Lo BTS station is 1.5 km away and gives skytrain access to central Bangkok, while J Avenue, a shopping and dining complex, is a short stroll from the house. Siam Paragon, a large shopping centre in the Siam district, is 5.2 km away, and the Jim Thompson House, a teak mansion turned museum, is 6 km away. Suvarnabhumi Airport is 18.9 km from the house, and Chatuchak Weekend Market, one of Bangkok's best-known weekend markets, lies further north.

A good day could begin with the Grand Palace, 9.9 km away, the historic royal complex in old Bangkok, followed by a visit to Wat Arun, the temple on the Thonburi bank of the Chao Phraya. Back in Thonglor, the evening can be spent in the district's bars and restaurants, or on the riverside at Asiatique.
