Emm House

The rooms at Emm House include double and twin rooms, a loft twin room and a room for up to five guests. Some rooms measure 30 m², and free Wi-Fi is available in all rooms.

Paknam is a district of Samut Prakan province, next to Bangkok, where temples, parks and the everyday life of a provincial town sit close together. The pace here is calmer than in central Bangkok, and the soi is a quiet place to stay between visits to the capital.

The Royal Thai Naval Academy train station is 300 m away, and Wat Mahawong, a Buddhist temple with a pagoda, is 600 m away. Rama IX Health Park, a public park, is 850 m away, and the Samut Prakan Observation Tower, a tower in the town, is 1.1 km away. Wat Mahawong and the park make a short outing from the hotel, with the station close by for onward travel. Getting around on foot is practical between the hotel, the station and the temple, as these sights are all within the same few kilometres.

A day here can start at Wat Mahawong and continue to the Wibun Si Pier, a ferry pier 1.5 km away. The Phi Suea Samut Fort Museum, housed in a historic fort, is one more stop for a half-day in the area. For a slower afternoon, the parks in the district are a quiet alternative to the temples.
