Eclipse Hostel and Bar

The rooms at Eclipse Hostel and Bar include mixed dormitories with bunk beds in 4-, 6- and 12-bed sizes, a female-only dormitory with an en-suite bathroom, and private double, twin and king rooms. Every room has air conditioning.

Rooms measure from 20 to 50 m², and the dormitory places are for one guest each, while the double and twin rooms sleep two.

The hostel has a bar with a happy hour, a spa and sauna, and massage on site. Free parking is available on site, and there is an airport transfer. Tours can be arranged, and there are also car hire, a taxi service and luggage storage.

For the island, non-motorised water sports, canoeing, diving and snorkelling are offered, and the hostel has a game room and on-site entertainment. Free WiFi is available in all rooms, and there is wired internet and WiFi in public areas, plus a shared lounge and TV area and a smoking area. Daily housekeeping and laundry service are offered as well, so the stay can be kept simple.

Haad Rin is a village on Ko Pha-ngan known for its beach bars and for the Full Moon Party, which is held on the beach 150 m from the hostel. Evenings in the village are lively, with bars, restaurants and guesthouses, and the sea is close by, with the beach 130 m from the hostel.

Around the hostel, Ban Haad Rin village is a short walk away, and Haad Rin Nok beach lies 300 m off. Haad Rin Viewpoint is a viewpoint near the village, and Thong Nai Pan Yai Beach, 10.5 km away, is a quieter bay on the island. Samui Airport (USM), 14 km away, is the nearest airport, on the neighbouring Ko Samui. Ko Pha-ngan is an island, so the last part of the journey is by boat, while the mainland at Surat Thani lies further away across the sea.

A day could start with a swim at Haad Rin Nok and an afternoon massage or spa treatment at the hostel. Once the sun goes down, the bars of the village are the next stop, and on full moon nights the beach party draws crowds to the sand near the hostel, so the evening can be spent right by the sea.
