Chatuchak Weekend Market, one of Bangkok's largest markets, is 8.7 km away, while the Grand Palace and Wat Arun, the temple on the Chao Phraya river, are 8.2 km away. Suvarnabhumi Airport is 20.7 km away.

A full day could start at Chatuchak Weekend Market on a weekend, then move on to the Jim Thompson House, the former home of the American silk entrepreneur, and end at Asiatique - The Riverfront, a riverside shopping and dining complex.
