Dudu'S Hostel

Every room at Dudu'S Hostel is a mixed dormitory room with one bunk bed, and the bathroom is shared. Air conditioning is provided in the rooms, and the shared bathroom comes with a shower, toiletries and towels.

The rooms measure 33 m² and 44 m², and each sleeps one guest. Blackout curtains, a flat-screen TV and a reading light are part of the set-up in both.

The shared lounge and TV area is the main common space at Dudu'S Hostel, with a flat-screen TV for shared viewing and comfortable seating for guests to relax together. Internet services are also offered in the hostel, alongside the lounge and TV area.

Inside the rooms, guests find a fan, an in-room safe box, a locker, a reading light, an adapter and a coffee and tea maker. Blackout curtains are fitted in the rooms, and air conditioning is provided in each room.

Bathrooms are shared, and the rooms are supplied with towels, toiletries and a hair dryer. Free parking is available on site, and the Wi-Fi is free in all rooms.

Dudu'S Hostel is in Mae Haad, the main village on Ko Tao, a small island in the Gulf of Thailand known for its diving. Boats arrive at the village pier, and its lanes hold dive shops, small cafés and a handful of shops, all a short walk from the hostel. The area suits visitors who want to be close to the water and the diving schools, without a long walk to the sea.

The Welcome to Koh Tao Turtle Monument is 200 m from the hostel, and Haad Ao Mae beach is 350 m away. Sairee Beach, one of the island's best-known stretches of sand, is 1000 m away. Koh Nang Yuan, a small island with a viewpoint, lies 4.2 km off the coast and is reached by boat, as Ko Tao itself is.

A good day starts with a walk to Haad Ao Mae and the turtle monument, then a visit to Sairee Beach on the same island. In the afternoon, a boat trip to Koh Nang Yuan gives you the views from its viewpoint, and a dive centre about 50 m from the hostel is the place to ask for anyone planning a dive, since diving is the island's main draw.
