DOX Ko Lanta

Further afield, Long Beach (2.1 km) and Klong Dao Beach (5.3 km) are reached by road, and the Butterfly Farm, a garden with butterflies and tropical plants, is among the nearby outings. Mu Ko Lanta National Park, covering much of the island's forest and coast, is 13.9 km away and suits anyone who wants a day of walking under the trees, with the sea never far off on the island.

Day trips can take in the Khao Mai Kaew Cave and the national park, and the island's roads make it easy to reach the beaches by songthaew or scooter. Krabi International Airport is 58.2 km away on the mainland, so the final leg of the journey is by boat, and the hotel offers an airport transfer for that part of the trip.
