Much of the day-to-day life of the area gathers along the main road and around the skytrain stations, so the streets stay busy well into the evening.

The Phrom Phong BTS station is 250 m away and the Thong Lo station is 1,000 m away, so the skytrain is the simplest way to move around the Sukhumvit corridor and reach the centre of the city. Benchasiri Park is a short stroll from the hotel, with a jogging track and a lake. The Siam Paragon shopping centre, with its aquarium and cinemas, and the Jim Thompson House museum, the former teak home of the American silk entrepreneur, are also well-known places to visit in the city.

A good day could begin with a walk through Benchasiri Park, followed by a skytrain ride to the shopping districts. Further away, the Grand Palace and Wat Arun, on the Chao Phraya river, are 8.8 km and 8.9 km from the hotel, and Suvarnabhumi Airport lies 19.9 km away. After a day of temples, the riverside is a good place for dinner.
