Double Bed Hotel

Every room at Double Bed Hotel has air conditioning, and the rooms are set up for one to four guests. The single room measures 12 m² and has one single bed. The suite measures 30 m² and has two queen beds for up to four guests. In between, the rooms offer king, queen and twin beds in several set-ups.

Some rooms look out over the street and others over the city, and a few have a balcony or terrace. Free Wi-Fi is available in all rooms, and the rooms with a shower also have toiletries and slippers, so there is little to pack for a short trip.

At reception, Double Bed Hotel offers luggage storage, express check-in and check-out, and private check-in and check-out, and English and Thai are spoken. The hotel also has 24-hour security, a shared lounge with a TV area, and shops, a salon and a convenience store on site.

The restaurant serves coffee, tea and desserts, and Wi-Fi is available in the public areas as well as in the rooms. Non-smoking rooms are available, and the hotel provides daily housekeeping, so rooms are cleaned each day.

Double Bed Hotel sits on Lat Phrao 41, a side street off Lat Phrao Road in the Ratchada area of northern Bangkok. The neighbourhood is mostly residential and commercial, with local shops and apartment blocks, and it is an area of everyday city life rather than the tourist sights of the old city.

The subway is an easy way to get around. Phawana MRT Station is 100 m from the hotel and Ratchadaphisek MRT Station is 1.1 km away, and the train line reaches the city centre, with its shopping and business districts, in a few stops. Wat Lad Phrao, a pagoda in the Lat Phrao neighbourhood, is 650 m away, and the Chatuchak Weekend Market, one of Bangkok's best-known markets for clothes, crafts and food, is 3.8 km away.

For a day out, Chatuchak is the obvious choice, while the Jim Thompson House, a museum house showing Thai silk and traditional architecture, is 8.3 km away for a separate trip. The temples of the old city, including Wat Arun on the riverside, are a longer journey across town, and the Chao Phraya riverside is worth a visit for the views of the river and the boats that pass along it.
