The rooms at Dome Kata Resort Phuket all have air conditioning and a city view, and they measure between 25 and 28 m². Twin and double layouts are both available, and each room sleeps up to three guests.

Kata Beach is about 650 m from the hotel, and it is the nearer of the two beaches. Big Buddha Phuket, a large white statue on a hill, is 1.3 km away. Chaithararam Temple, known as Wat Chalong, is one of the most revered temples on the island and lies 4.5 km away. For livelier evenings, Patong Beach is 6.8 km away.

A good day could start with a swim at Kata Beach, followed by a visit to the Big Buddha and Wat Chalong, and end at the Kata Night Market in the evening. The sea is part of the routine here too, as snorkelling and diving are offered at the hotel, and fishing is possible as well. Phuket International Airport is 31.7 km away, the nearest airport for the trip.
