DMK Donmueang Guesthouse

The guesthouse offers rooms in several layouts, from single and double beds to queen and king beds, with futons and sofa beds in some rooms, for groups of two to five guests. Some rooms have a city view and others a garden view, and some have a private bathroom with a shower.

Families can choose the family room made up of two connecting rooms, which sleeps up to five guests and has a kitchenette. The apartment sleeps up to four guests and has air conditioning and a flat-screen TV.

DMK Donmueang Guesthouse is in the Muang Thong Thani area, a large complex of offices, housing and exhibition halls, 5.6 km from Don Mueang International Airport. It is a practical place to stay for an early flight or for visits to the exhibition halls, and the area feels more suburban than the historic centre of Bangkok.

The Muang Thong Thani MRT Station is 1.4 km away, with Si Rat MRT Station a little further on, so rail is a way into the city. Ruamjai Fresh Market, a local food market, is on foot, and the IMPACT Exhibition Center, a large venue for trade fairs and concerts, is nearby. Wat Phasuk Manichak, a Buddhist temple, is also close by, and car parks are a short distance away for guests who drive.

A day out could start at the Chatuchak Weekend Market, 12.2 km away, a large weekend market with thousands of stalls, and can continue to the old city later in the day. The Grand Palace, 18.9 km away in Bangkok's old city, is the best-known royal complex in the city and holds the Temple of the Emerald Buddha. Wat Arun, on the opposite bank of the Chao Phraya river from the Grand Palace, is a short distance away.
