Chatuchak Weekend Market is 3.3 km away, one of Bangkok's largest weekend markets, with clothing, food and craft stalls. Jim Thompson House, a teak-built museum of Thai art and silk, is 6.7 km away, and the Grand Palace, the royal complex on the Chao Phraya river, is 10.1 km away, a longer trip across the city.

A full day could start at the Chatuchak Weekend Market on a Saturday or Sunday, then continue by metro to the riverside sights at the Grand Palace before returning to the hotel in the evening. The 400 m walk to the station makes the metro the easiest link between the hotel and the sights.
