Diamond House Khaosan

Each room measures 18 m². The rooms feature a private bathroom with a shower, toiletries and towels, along with a flat-screen TV and a telephone, and free Wi-Fi is available in all rooms.

Beds are single beds or a double bed, depending on the room, and capacity goes up to three guests. The rooms also have a desk, a closet and cleaning products.

The lanes around Khaosan Road have a lively, backpacker feel, while the temples and museums of the old city are within a few kilometres. The area is easy to explore on foot, and the river piers sit close to the main lanes.

Khaosan Road is 450 m away. The Grand Palace is 1.6 km from the hotel, and its complex holds the Temple of the Emerald Buddha (Wat Phra Kaew). Wat Arun, the riverside temple with its tall prang, is 2.4 km away on the far bank of the Chao Phraya, and the river ferry piers at Phra Arthit are close by. Several small museums, including the Bangkok Metropolitan Museum and The Coin Museum, are within a few hundred metres of the hotel.

A good day could start at the Grand Palace and the Temple of the Emerald Buddha in the morning, cross the river to Wat Arun in the afternoon, and end with an evening walk along Khaosan Road. Sam Yot MRT station is also nearby for trips further afield, and the Chatuchak Weekend Market is 6.8 km away for a longer trip.
