Siam Paragon, a large shopping centre with an aquarium and cinemas, is 2.1 km away, and the Jim Thompson House, a museum of teak houses and Thai silk, is 2.9 km away. Ploen Chit park is 800 m away, a green space close to the hotel. Phloen Chit, reached on the same line, is a busy shopping and hotel district around the Central Chidlom department store, and it is easy to reach from here by Skytrain.

A good day could start with a Skytrain ride to the Siam shopping area, followed by a visit to the Jim Thompson House, and an evening back in Nana for street food. The Grand Palace and Wat Arun, in the old city, are a longer trip across the river and deserve a separate day.
