Bangkok's large Chatuchak Weekend Market is 10.2 km away, and the Grand Palace, the royal palace complex in the old city, is 17.4 km away, with Wat Phra Kaew inside its walls.

Laksi Temple, a pagoda about 2.2 km away, and the Talat Mueang Thong market make a short local outing from the hotel. A day could combine the Chatuchak market with the temples and the palace in the old city, which are reached by taxi or public transport from the hotel. Wat Arun, on the bank of the Chao Phraya river, is worth a visit on the same day for anyone who wants to see the riverside temples.
