The Grand Palace, 4.6 km away, lies across the river, while Wat Arun, 5.1 km away, sits on the Thonburi bank, on the same side as the hotel. Several Chao Phraya ferry piers are a few kilometres off, so a river boat is an option for crossing to the other bank.

A full day can cover the Grand Palace and Wat Arun, which sit on opposite banks of the river, with Chang Chui Market nearby for an afternoon among the local stalls.
