It works well as a base for anyone who wants to be in Bangkok but away from the busiest tourist streets.

Saphan Khwai BTS Station is 850 m away, and the skytrain from there runs to the Siam shopping district. The Chatuchak Weekend Market, 1.4 km away, is one of the largest weekend markets in Bangkok, and the Or Tor Kor Market, a fresh food market, is close by. The Jim Thompson House, a teak-wood house museum, is also in the area.

For a full day, combine the weekend market with the Grand Palace, 7.2 km away, and Wat Arun, a temple on the Chao Phraya River with a tall central spire. Don Mueang International Airport is 15.3 km away and Suvarnabhumi Airport 24.7 km, so the airports are a longer ride than the skytrain from Saphan Khwai, and the hotel's airport transfer is the simplest link to them.
