For a longer outing, the Big Buddha on Bophut hill is 6.3 km away, and its hilltop setting overlooks Bophut Bay, so the visit combines a temple with a view of the coast. Samui Airport is 4.2 km away, the closest airport to the property, and Bangkok Hospital Samui is nearby, too.

A good day could begin on Chaweng Noi Beach, which is the nearest sand to the apartment, so a swim there is the easiest start to the day. The day could continue to the Big Buddha and finish at the Bophut Food Market. Inland, Na Muang Waterfall is a different kind of outing, and the Samui Elephant Sanctuary in Bophut is another stop nearby.
