Along the roads behind the sand, small shops and food stalls serve local residents. The bay is a quiet place for a walk along the sand in the early morning.

Rawai, next door, has a fish market and Rawai Pier, a ferry terminal 1.8 km from the condo, and Rawai Beach, 1.3 km away, is another stretch of sand nearby. The Rawai fish market is a good place to see the day's seafood on sale. Closer by, Wat Nai Harn is a Buddhist temple, while Chaithararam Temple (Wat Chalong), one of Phuket's most revered Buddhist temples, is 7.9 km away.

A day could start with a swim at Nai Harn and a walk around the lake, then continue to the hilltop Big Buddha Phuket and on to Wat Chalong. Kata Beach, 4.2 km away, makes a good change of scene in the afternoon, and Patong's Jungceylon Shopping Center and Bangla Road are the island's main nightlife and shopping area.
