Coroom BKK

All the rooms at Coroom BKK have air conditioning. They run from a 25 m² double room with a king bed and a private bathroom to a 129 m² space with two bedrooms and three bathrooms.

A 27 m² triple room has three single beds for up to three guests, with a private bathroom, toiletries and a flat-screen TV. The 129 m² space sleeps up to six guests and has satellite and cable channels, a coffee and tea maker and a desk.

Guests can use dishes and dining utensils, a microwave, a refrigerator and a freezer, and there is a shared lounge with a TV area. Luggage storage, lockers and express check-in and check-out are available, and a laundromat is nearby. Air conditioning is also in the public areas.

Rooms can have ironing facilities, a washing machine, a desk, a hair dryer and a coffee and tea maker, and free Wi-Fi is available in all rooms. The public areas also have WiFi.

Family rooms are offered, and rooms can have a balcony or terrace. Non-smoking rooms are available, cleaning supplies are provided for guests, and English and Thai are spoken at the property.

Bang Ao is a residential part of Bangkok on the Thonburi side of the Chao Phraya River, a quieter setting than the busy districts across the water. Coroom BKK is on Soi Charan Sanitwong 74/1, and several river piers stand close by. The Bang Phlat MRT station is just 100 m away and links the area with the rest of the city.

The Grand Palace, which encloses the Temple of the Emerald Buddha, is 5 km away, and Wat Arun, the Temple of Dawn with its tall prang, is 5.7 km from the property. Wat Phra Chetuphon, home to a famous reclining Buddha, is also nearby. Khaosan Road, the backpacker street lined with bars and street-food stalls, is 3.8 km away, and the Jim Thompson House, a museum set in a collection of teak houses, is another sight taxis can take you to. The river piers close by offer boat trips along the Chao Phraya, though the metro is the simpler link.

A good day could begin at the Grand Palace and Wat Arun and end at the Chatuchak Weekend Market, 4.7 km from the property, which is one of Bangkok's largest markets and runs at weekends. Plan one full day for the old city, and use the market as an afternoon stop. After a day out, the metro station next to the property takes you straight back to the rest of the city.
