Conrad Koh Samui

The villas at Conrad Koh Samui include two-bedroom layouts of 297 m² and one-bedroom layouts of 130 m², and several of them have ocean views. The two-bedroom villas sleep up to four guests, and the one-bedroom villas sleep up to three. Two-bedroom villas have two beds, king or double, and one-bedroom villas have a double bed, with the bathrooms fitted out as described below.

Rooms can have air conditioning, blackout curtains, a mini bar, a refrigerator, an in-room safe and a balcony or terrace. Free Wi-Fi is available in all rooms, and some bathrooms have a separate shower and bathtub, with bathrobes, toiletries and a hair dryer.

The swimming pool, the private beach and the spa are the main facilities here. The spa offers massage, body scrubs and body wraps, a foot bath, a sauna, a steamroom and a hot tub. The fitness centre and a yoga room are also on site, and the hotel offers snorkelling, diving and canoeing.

Taling Ngam is a quiet part of Koh Samui, quieter than Chaweng and Lamai, the island's busier resort beaches, and the hotel has its own private beach. Most of the sights nearby are reached by road across the island, and the hotel's own grounds keep much of a stay on site.

Phang Ka Bay is 1.1 km from the hotel, a small bay with a quiet shoreline, and the Samui Snake Farm, 2.2 km away, is a reptile attraction. Further inland, the Na Muang Waterfall is 8.8 km away, and the granite formations of Hin Ta and Hin Yai stand on the coast near Lamai. Because the sights are spread around the island rather than clustered around the hotel, most outings start with a drive.

A good day out combines the Big Buddha, a large seated statue near Bophut that is 22.1 km from the hotel, with a swim at Lamai Beach and an evening at the View Point Sunset lookout, 500 m from the hotel. Lamai has a busier beach road with restaurants and bars, a contrast with the quiet setting of the hotel, and the lookout is a short walk away, with a view over the bay at dusk. Guests who want a quieter day can stay on the hotel's own beach and combine it with the spa and pools.
