The rooms at Column Bangkok run from one-bedroom rooms to two-bedroom suites, and most of them have king beds. Asok BTS Station is 450 m away and Sukhumvit MRT Station is 550 m, linking the hotel to the Skytrain and the subway. Kamthieng House Museum, a northern Thai teak house turned into a museum, is a short walk away, and Benjakitti Park, a large green space with a lake, is close by. Jim Thompson House, the teak home of the American silk entrepreneur, is 4 km away, and the Grand Palace is 7.8 km away.

A good day could start with a walk through Benjakitti Park, followed by a visit to Jim Thompson House in the afternoon. In the evening, Soi Cowboy, a bar street off Sukhumvit Road, is close by for nightlife. Wat Arun and the Grand Palace are better kept for a separate day out, since both lie several kilometres from the hotel.
