Colorful Hut

Colorful Hut offers studios, family rooms and bungalows, and every room has air conditioning and a private bathroom with a shower. Most rooms overlook the garden, and one studio has a sea view. The studios and family rooms sleep up to four guests, while the bungalows sleep up to two.

Several bungalows have a balcony or terrace, and most rooms have a private entrance. Towels, linens and an electric kettle come with many of the rooms, and a fan or a mosquito net is included in several others. One bungalow has a window that opens, and the hotel has a shared lounge with a large-screen TV.

Guests can use the garden, a shared lounge with a large-screen TV, a yoga room and a game room. On site there is a restaurant with a la carte dishes, a snack bar, a bar with happy hour and a shared kitchen, and a breakfast service is also offered. Air conditioning is available in the public areas as well.

Free parking is available on site, and free Wi-Fi covers all rooms and the public areas. Pets are allowed, and charges apply. The hotel also has a private beach, and watersport equipment rental, canoeing, diving, snorkelling and hiking are available, along with ticket services, luggage storage, daily housekeeping and express check-in and check-out.

Colorful Hut is in Wok Tum, on Ko Pha-ngan, an island in the Gulf of Thailand known for its beaches and for its full-moon parties at Haad Rin, a different stretch of coast. The island has no bridge, so the last part of every journey is by boat. The hotel has a private beach of its own, and the bay of Ao Nai Wok, with its beach, is the coastline closest to the property.

Nai Wok Beach, on the bay of Ao Nai Wok, is 300 m from the hotel, and Ao Plaaylaem Beach is also nearby. The HTMS Phangan 713 Warship Museum is a museum built around a Royal Thai Navy warship, and the King Chulalongkorn (Rama V) Monument honours the king who modernised Siam; both are a short distance from the hotel. Thong Sala village, about 1 km away, and the island's pier are close by too.

For a day out, the KBA Kiteboarding Centre and Wake Park Phangan are both within 2 km of the hotel, so kiteboarding and wakeboarding are easy to add to a day on the coast. Phantip Market, about 900 m away, is a local market near the hotel. In the evening, Thong Sala has a choice of restaurants and shops. Other beaches on the island, such as Thong Nai Pan Yai Beach, are a longer trip away, and a full day out could include one of them.
