Cocoon APK Resort & Spa has rooms for solo travellers, couples and families, from a men-only dormitory with a bunk bed to a Family Room that sleeps up to five guests. The Standard Room measures 18 m², the Deluxe Room 33 m² and the Superior Double Room 22 m², and the rooms cover several bed setups, from a single double bed to a king bed.

A city view comes with the Deluxe Room and the Deluxe City View, and the Family Room has a mountain view. The Standard - 1 Double Bed with Balcony and the Deluxe City View both have a bathtub. The Superior Double Room has a separate shower and bathtub.

The restaurant serves Asian, international and Western cuisine, and buffet, continental and halal breakfast are served as well. Lunch and dinner are served in the restaurant, and there is a halal restaurant, a happy hour at the bar, room service and food delivery.

Patong is one of Phuket's best-known beach towns, a lively resort area built around a long beach, with restaurants, bars, shops and night markets along its streets. Cocoon APK Resort & Spa sits in the built-up part of the town, and Patong Beach is within walking distance. Both the beach and the evening life are close to hand, and the island's roads connect the town to the rest of Phuket.

Jungceylon Shopping Center is 300 m away, a large shopping complex on Patong's streets. Bangla Road, the street of bars and clubs that runs through the town, is 550 m away, and the Banzaan Fresh Market (Night) is close by. Further afield, the Chaithararam Temple (Wat Chalong) is 6.4 km away and the Big Buddha statue, a large white figure on a hilltop, is 7.4 km away. Kata Beach, a sandy bay a short drive from Patong, is also reached by road, and Phuket International Airport is 24.2 km away by road.

A day could begin on Patong Beach, continue with a visit to the Big Buddha and the Chaithararam Temple, and end on Bangla Road in the evening. The Phuket FantaSea cultural show is another evening outing, and a stop at Jungceylon Shopping Center fits well on the way back to the hotel.
