Wat Suwankeereewong, a temple 350 m away, is close as well. Karon Beach, a long stretch of sand farther south along the coast, makes a good day out, and the hotel's own garden and hiking trails offer a quieter outing closer to home.

For a day out, Chaithararam Temple (Wat Chalong), one of the island's most important Buddhist temples, is 6.8 km away, and the Big Buddha, a large statue on a hilltop, is also worth a visit. In the evening, Phuket FantaSea, a theme park with a cultural show and dinner, is another outing to consider, and Phuket Town, the island's old capital, is worth a trip for its Sino-Portuguese architecture.
