Chytalay Palace Hotel

The rooms at Chytalay Palace Hotel run from a compact room for one guest to a 50 m² family room with a partial sea view and a balcony or terrace. Several rooms have a city view, and beds include a king bed, double beds and single beds, depending on the room.

The Family Room and the Family Suite sleep up to four guests, and the Standard Triple Room sleeps up to three. The Coconut Museum is a short ride away and offers a quieter outing into the island's history.

Samui Airport is 14.2 km away on the island, and the Big Buddha and the Fisherman's Village are among the best-known sights further afield. Maenam Beach, 8.2 km away, is a sandy stretch of coast, while Na Muang Waterfall, in the hills, is a popular cascade for a half-day trip. Chaweng Noi Beach and Lamai Beach are further away and make a full day out.

A good day could start with the Big Buddha, continue to the Na Muang Waterfall in the afternoon and end with a meal at the night market back in Nathon, which is a short ride from the hotel and a lively place to eat after a day out. Getting around the island usually means a taxi, a songthaew or a rented scooter, since the main sights are spread over a wide area.
